She Faced Her Problems Head On:
By: Mehwish Fatima
There once was a girl who came to me.
she was worried about her family
she wasn’t aloof to their problems at all
but she eluded the bickering with a metaphorical wall
she was fed up and tired of being nonchalantly unaware
she soon became ornery everywhere
she detached herself from her families’ lies
she no longer cried yet began to rise
Time passed and she realized what went wrong
her heart began to sing its triumphant song
she took control of her apprehension
and put an end to all the tension
she reluctantly faced her fears
she resignedly dried her tears
She no longer convicted those who loved her
she began to pull herself out of the gutter
In the end she gallantly stood
she faced her problems head on
There was a new fiery sparkle in her eyes
A good fortune fell upon her as she came to be wise(er).
