Pacer Day by Jordan F.
It's that time of year again; pace yourself. It's pacer day! I interviewed a sixth grader, a seventh grader, and an eighth grader about pacers, and this is what they told me:
"It's hard, but we should still try our best," stated one sixth grader.
"Personally, I don't like it at all. Why can't we take a different test?" one seventh grader asked me.
Finally, the eighth grader added humorously, "Pacers is the opposite of Christmas!" In my opinion, pacers are fun, but tiring.
Fortunately, for those who dislike pacers, pacer day is only once a month. Like it or not, everyone can try to get on the pacer board. To do this, you must break your previous pacer record. In conclusion, everyone has mixed feelings about pacer day. Just remember to try your best, and don't push yourself too hard!
